Nice.
The nice are the enemies of life. They are the neurotic, the cruel, the manipulators. The nice suffocate all life out of a moment. In their desperation to avoid conflict, they avoid the truth and perpetuate the very thing they want to avoid until it forces its way out in awkward situations. Nice people smile when they do not mean it. Pay compliments in lies and excuse themselves politely when they feel their prejudice creeping in, but never address it. Nice people are the enemies of sincerity. They're neat and tidy. They judge the things they do not like secretly, behind warm eyes -- then disappear silently. The nice are cruel. They get their teeth in and will not let go. They are born out of a desperate need for power, without ever saying that is what they want. I hate nice people more than I hate those who admit killing. ‘Yeah, I did it’ is better than ‘you are always welcome…’ only to find out, two days later, that you are not welcome.
By all means, tell me you hate me; admit you're a liar; Integrate your shadow — shoot first, think later. But do not, under any circumstances, be nice. It makes the world a disgusting place to live in. It is repugnant. A deep sickness.
Be real. Be an animal. Be human.
But for the love of all that is good about the world
Don't be nice.
